Israeli Apartheid Week.

Israeli Apartheid Week: I give up - Dawg's Blawg (Blog)
Apartheid is a totally appropriate term. But, as one commenter suggested, "slow genocide" actually captures what is happening more directly.

Harper awarded for supporting genocide in Palestine

LeDaro: Stephen Harper - Reasons for his "Human Rights" Award
watch the video.
This is the reason that Harper received a "human rights" award from the
Canadian Jewish Council. It is sad. Do these children have no human
rights? If Harper had any credibility as a leader, this should put an
end to it. If the Canadian Jewish Congress had any claims of being an
organization for human rights, then this kind of award should put an
end to it.

There is some truth in what Ahmadinejad says

Bill Longstaff: Is Ahmadinejad entirely wrong?

Yes, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad does shamelessly grandstand, and yes, once again he has set the cat among the pigeons on the racism front, but is much of what he says not true? In his tirade at the UN anti-racism conference, he is quoted as calling Israel a "cruel and repressive racist regime."

Let's parse that phrase in terms of Gaza. Wasn't the slaughter of 400 children during Israel's invasion of the strip earlier this year "cruel"? Is not the continuing blockade of Gaza "repressive"? And is denying the one million Palestinian refugees in Gaza the right to return home simply because of their race and religion not "racist"? So where in that phrase is Ahmadinejad wrong or anti-Semitic?

Israel on trial

Canadian Dimension Blog / Israel on trial

(New York Times. Apr 4. By George Bisharat) CHILLING testimony by Israeli soldiers substantiates charges that Israel’s Gaza Strip assault entailed grave violations of international law. The emergence of a predominantly right-wing, nationalist government in Israel suggests that there may be more violations to come. Hamas’s indiscriminate rocket attacks on Israeli civilians also constituted war crimes, but do not excuse Israel’s transgressions. While Israel disputes some of the soldiers’ accounts, the evidence suggests that Israel committed the following six offenses:

Israeli soldiers just following orders - to shoot women and children

Israel continues to show contempt for Palestinian life.

Al Jazeera English - Middle East - Gaza deaths dog Israeli military

I'm not surprised at all. There has been evidence of such behaviour for decades. But this area is under a much more watchful eye of the world now than ever.

Still Hell in Gaza

Runesmith's Canadian Content: Meanwhile, It Still Sucks in Gaza <read full post

Funny how the western media has totally moved on from Gaza. And yet, for those who are still in the thick of it, the only difference seems to be the particular flavour of hell they're living in.

Yes, the tanks have retreated and the aerial bombardment has ceased. They're still getting shelled from the sea, bombed by drones and shot at from the border, of course. And the Israelis have suddenly decided that their previous arbitrary 300m "buffer zone" was woefully inadequate and have now arbitrarily expanded it to a full kilometre - all on the Gaza side of the border, of course.

This, in a country that is only 6-7 kilometres wide along much of its length.

Genocide supporter Netanyahu, is keen on adding Iran to Israel's targets

Press TV < read full story

Israeli
election frontrunner Benjamin Netanyahu says his first mission if
elected prime minister would be to 'thwart the Iranian threat'.

In an interview with Israel's Channel 2 TV late Saturday, Netanyahu
said he fully intends to sabotage Tehran's nuclear efforts once and for
all.

"[Iran] will not be armed with a nuclear weapon… It includes
everything that is necessary to make this statement come true," said
Israel's leading candidate for prime minister.

Israel, the sole nuclear power in the Middle East, accuses Tehran
of seeking nuclear weaponry while the UN nuclear watchdog, in its Sept.
15 report on Iran, declared that it could not find any "components of a
nuclear weapon" or "related nuclear physics studies" in the country.

Netanyahu, who is currently facing war crime charges in Gaza,
claimed the Islamic Republic's uranium enrichment is the greatest
danger to Israel and humanity.

After weeks of denying that it used illegal weapons in the
densely-populated Gaza Strip, the Israeli military finally admitted
Friday that it had pounded the Palestinian coast with at least twenty
white phosphorus bombs.

The 1980 third Convention on Conventional Weapons has banned the
use of white phosphorus as a weapon, even against military targets
situated within population centers.

International attorneys have filed war crime charges against 15
Israeli political and military officials, including Ehud Olmert, Tzipi
Livni and Ehud Barak.

Officials warn of 'destruction of all means of life' after the

destruction of great areas of farmland during the Israeli invasion...
Between 35% and 60% of the agriculture industry has been wrecked by the

Every article about the school bombing that I could find, names the school al Fakhura - somehow the Globe came up with the name "Ibn Rushd Preparatory School for Boys". One wonders if the reporter was in the wrong place entirely.

Fueling the cycle of hate

Yigal Bronner and Neve Gordon: Fueling the Cycle of Hate < read me
Israeli soccer matches were suspended during the assault on Gaza. When the games resumed last week, the fans had come up with a new chant: "Why have the schools in Gaza been shut down?" sang the crowd. "Because all the children were gunned down!" came the answer.

Genocide, from the World's Biggest Victim Industry

Smoking Mirrors: Genocide, from the World's Biggest Victim Industry. <read the full post
In present time they are engaged in exterminating a population before the eyes of the world. They forced 700,000 of these people off of their land via the cachet that they garnered according to this highly questionable event. Since then, for sixty years they have been diligently exterminating these people and stealing more and more of their land. This is a fact.

Recently they launched a military strike against these people for political gain. The party in power was losing the support of their own people so they needed to do something that would regain them political support for the upcoming election. They succeeded in this event. They also succeeded in destroying what little was left of the other countries manufacturing capacity. They also destroyed their livestock and food supplies. When concerned people around the world wanted to donate to these people, who are homeless and without food, the BBC decided not to run a public service video because the appeal might be considered as anti-Israel. Yes… the BBC refused to run the appeal for this reason. This is because pro-Zionist Mark Thompson is a director at the BBC. Marcus Agius, a senior independent director at the BBC is married to a Rothschild.

Things are very, very bad in Gaza. Here is a listing of some of the Israeli war criminals with their pictures.

During this vicious act of genocide the Israelis used DIME… depleted uranium …and white phosphorus on women and children and anyone else who happened to be nearby. Now they are blocking an appeal for the survivors of the devastation that they caused.

The argument has been given that the attack was to stop rockets being launched into GAZA. Few, if any rockets were launched into GAZA during the ceasefire which was broken by Israel. Its right there on CNN, go watch it. Israel committed these atrocities to influence an election and because they are psychopaths who enjoy causing human suffering. This is how they entertain themselves.
