We have some large media chains, run by large multi-national corporations, who are very obviously "friendly" in their "editorial content" (loosely disguised as "journalism") to the governing party.
We have a proven history - and research (see McGill study) - showing how this governing party benefited from amazingly slanted positive "news/editorializing" from said chains...
...How is a "bailout" of "friendly" media chains ANY different than handing over cash for positive coverage? How? Oh, please do, tell us how, this is not some sort of conflict of interest... Something that borders on the heinous?

Is Apple losing the plot?
APPLE IS KNOWN FOR A LOT OF THINGS, being overpriced, having nice design, attracting fanboys who religiously believe that Steve Jobs is a Messiah. But for years the build quality of the gear has never been questioned.
Now it seems that Apple has reverted to the days of the Apple II which used to catch fire even if you looked at it in a funny way or did something to place the electrics under pressure... such as turning it on.
Conservatives Hate Canada
Wake up and smell the reality people.
So here's the question: how long can we call this a Conservative government....instead of a Bush Con conspiracy to destroy Canada ?
How long before we recognize the true face of the alien ENEMY ?
And how will we EVER explain this one?
Even though there were twice as many of US than there were of THEM.....sixty-four percent to thirty-five. We let the Cons use the recession to destroy our country. Because we weren't UNITED.
So how DO we explain that one? Because future generations WILL want to know why we let the Cons dismember our country piece by piece. Why we didn't realize it wasn't a political game...it was an ideological WAR.
Oh boy. We can still crush these foul fascist Cons who are raping our beautiful country. But the great awakening better come soon.
Or there won't be much Canada left to save.....
