I only have one thing to say about the current document release by wikileaks and that’s this:
Dear governments of the world. We are watching you. Get fucking used to it.
But we invade, occupy and destroy Iraq -- while severely abusing, torturing
and killing their citizens -- and then demand, as a condition for our
allowing the end of crippling sanctions, that they fork over hundreds of
millions of dollars in compensation to American torture victims, even
though it all happened 20 years ago, under an Iraqi regime that no
longer even exists. They hate us for our Freedoms.

attributes Aisha's mutilation to a husband under orders of a Talib
commander, thereby transforming a personal story, similar to those of
countless women in Afghanistan today, into a portent of things to come
for all women if the Taliban return to power ...

But "Lemmings" in a metaphorical sense do exist, and they vote
conservative.Why are people so willing to swallow complete bullshit and fabrications, and to abandon common sense? Every single conservative government runs the deficit up. And this deficit started well before things went south, globally.
Despite all evidence to the contrary they vote for the worst policies
for a country and a society. They do it even when they can see that it
has caused millions of bodies to wash up on the shores of economic
destruction.

The UN Security
Council has condemned acts leading to the deaths of civilians during
Monday's Israeli attack on a humanitarian aid convoy that was headed to
the Gaza Strip.
In a formal statement adopted after more than 10 hours of closed-door
negotiations, the council requested the immediate release of ships and
civilians held by Israel and called for an impartial investigation.

former prime minister acted in an “inappropriate” way when he accepted

The report by Justice Jeffrey Oliphant said Mulroney “failed to
live up to the standard of conduct that he himself adopted in the 1985
ethics code.”
The judge said he could not accept Mulroney’s testimony that his
acceptance of at least $225,000 in cash was an error in judgment.

OTTAWA – A flat-out denial yesterday by Minister of Human Resources

Employment Insurance (EI) processing centres in Ontario conflicts with
the facts, says New Democrat MP Charlie Angus (Timmins – James Bay). In
Question Period, Finley denied that a major set of cuts to the centres
is in the works. But Angus says the plans are already well developed.
“Perhaps the minister did not understand the question. We are talking
about cuts right across Ontario to 15 centres for EI including
Brantford, Peterborough, Oshawa, Kenora, Timmins and other communities.”
